Puja and Marcus have their wedding!

We have been so very busy, but we will be catching up on blog posts all week!!!

Marcus and his entourage toasting to the day!

Puja wore the shoes above and below, they were handmade specifically for her and they had both of their names, as well as their July 4th date on them!

Marcus rode into the ceremony on a horse while everyone around him danced, sang and played assorted percussion instruments, it was quite a sight!

Marcus was told his name was somewhere in her henna, the photo above and the two below are a series of him looking for and finding his name!

The night ended with sparklers on the roof of Bell Harbor.

What a sweet night! Congratulations Puja and Marcus....we loved shooting your wedding!

Puja and Marcus' Sangeet!

Over the July fourth weekend, Puja and Marcus had an amazing multiple day event. The day after Puja's henna ceremony, her parents held a Sangeet at their house. It was full of music, dancing, and great food....

...and really cute kids!

I love the photos above and below, Marcus was trying to find his name hidden in Puja's henna. He found it the next day at their wedding (pictures coming soon!)

I just can't get over all the colors..... so bright!

The fun continued well into the night, and was just a warm up for their wedding the next day!

Puja's Mehndi

I was so absolutely lucky to get to photograph Puja tonight getting her henna applied for this Saturday's wedding ceremony! Adam and I are so very excited to get to be a part of her and Marcus' day! Take a look at the gorgeous bride...

It was a wonderful evening with lots great music and dancing, the air was full of energy and excitement for the days ahead!

I even got to have some henna put on my hand (below), I love it!

See you guys tomorrow night!!

Andrea and Allan's Newcastle Wedding!

Allan and Andrea could not have asked for better weather for their gorgeous Newcastle wedding last weekend...

The day started out at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, where everyone got ready, and the couple had their first-look.

How cute are those shoes?!

Andrea's Monique Lhuillier dress was absolutely stunning, above, and we loved Allan's typewriter key cuff links below!

Katy Leiser of Unveiled Events did excellent work coordinating the wedding, she was absolutely fantastic to work with!

Bonnie from New Renaissance Cakes made this amazing cake! It was fabulous!

The husband and wife team of Sound Playback Productions, on the left in the photo above, were the videographers Andrea and Allan hired to shoot their amazing day. Aaron and Martha were so much fun to work with and we loved that they shot with Super 8 film!

Congratulations to you both!!

Nicole and Dave's Engagement Session!

We had an amazing time with Nicole and Dave at their engagement session earlier this month. They are such a fantastic couple; we can't wait for their wedding in September... and a week later we'll get to shoot them in Paris, our favorite city, what a dream!

We decided to meet at Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill. We had fun hanging out with them and wandering around the park.

After the park we headed down to Pike Place and Post Alley. At the moment Dave lives in Sun Valley and Nicole lives in Portland, so it was fun to capture some "Seattle" shots with both of them.

Thanks for a great evening, see you both soon!

Elizabeth and Clay's Wedding!

Betsey and Clay met when they were in third grade, they played on the same soccer team! They started dating in 10th grade and after finishing college they held their hometown wedding... last Saturday was a gorgeous Western Washington day! From Robinson Point Park, on Vashon Island, Mount Rainier looks like you can reach out and touch it!

Clay and his groomsmen were comfortable in their suit shirts and ties, perfect beach wedding attire.

Betsey's grandmother's cameo is gorgeous and made a wonderful something old. She tied it around the base of her bouquet for the day.

They looked like they had just stepped out of a magazine!

The Point Robinson Lighthouse was built in 1885 and is still a working lighthouse today, we had a blast shooting in and around it with the couple and their wedding party!

We could not believe our luck in the weather, Kim and I just loved the view!

I love capturing the groom after the ceremony playing with his ring, trying to get used to the feel of the metal on his finger.

Clay and Betsy had their new dog, Norbert, join in on the day's events...

Enjoy Mexico you two! Congratulations!
